Haya is a former soldier living with the trauma of war. A loner, he gradually rebuilds his life through painting. He has fallen in love with Rose, a cabaret waitress who has fled her violent husband and been forced to abandon her child. While Haya plans to leave town with Rose, his plans are disrupted when he meets Djibrine, a street child.
